Mission Statement

The Jasper County Historical Society was organized June 20, 1966. Its purpose is to collect and preserve letters, pictures, records, artifacts and any items of significance to the history of Jasper County, Indiana, and its citizens.

Pioneer Village Log Cabin

The 1867 log cabin greets visitors at the entrance of the Jasper County Fairgrounds.

Pioneer Village Rosebud School and Parr Post Office

The 1877 school and the 1938 post office reside near the main entrance of Jasper County Fairgrounds.

Class of 1936 Quilt

The single patch quilt created by the members of the Rensselaer High School Class of 1936 is shown on the table in the foreground in the museum.
